LUCKY CHINATOWN

Woke up today to day 2 of the celebration of Our Little One's 1st Birthday, coz we had ice cream for breakfast! Haha!!! Naughtly Mimi, tempting tonsillitis back again.. My favourite flavour, cheese and purple yam! Again, more fun in the Philippines! After that, Mr M went off to play another round of basketball with his mates, and got 'kneed' on his shin, all part of the game, although his walk is a bit off-key again, bless him. And did they win? Of course! All worth the pain, he says.. We then had proper breakfast with fried rice, Filipino style and a couple of dishes.. Passed the time blipping and playing with his numerous nieces and nephews.. Had lunch and raw green mangoes with shrimp paste! Yum!! What I've been missing!!!

By around 4pm, time for us to go back to my mum's place. Stopped by 168 Mall, a discount mall which was jampacked with lots of people! Good thing there was proper air conditioning otherwise I'd have sniffed the smell of sweat and all sorts of unsavoury body odours common in jampacked areas.. Thank God for air conditioning!!! After a bit of shopping, walked a bit looking for a cab and saw this mall!

Lucky Chinatown Mall! Heard so much about it, a new mall, but didn't realize it was just a few miles away from home. A high-end mall with stores the likes of Mango, Guess, Aldo, etc. Unfortunately, it was quite late, hence only had enough time to snap this as it looked like more heavy rain and thunderstorms on its way..

Another day perhaps..

Hope everyone's had a great weekend!! Monday tomorrow and start of school here. Traffic would be very slow for sure! Chaos would be expected as usual..
