BlipBear and Kiwi do Hawthorne!

Hello, all my Blip friends! BlipBear here, with my sidekick Kiwi. We're having quite a time in Portland, visiting TerriG and LaurieT and their little dog too - Liza Jane. Liza wanted to show us around the neighbourhood this morning, so after a nice lie-in, we got in the basket and went for a "scoot." We scooted down the streets and over to the park and then! we went up to Hawthorne Boulevard!

Liza told me she dreads the Busy Street because there are so many people and cars and it's noisy and things happen suddenly. But Kiwi and I are old hats at big cities, so we were chuffed. There were very colourful people and window displays and even a Waffle Window where they sell nothing but waffles! It's very popular. You can see photos of all these in Terri's Flickr stream.

We were going to go with Terri to hear her sing this afternoon, but we needed a nap after our big adventure. Maybe later.
