Arriba!!!

What a delightful Blipmeet we had this afternoon, with Kendall (kendallishere), Cynthia (LocalFoodLover), Phil (pilipo) and Sherrie (musings)! We've spent time with Cynthia and Phil before, and Kendall, of course, but this was our first time meeting Sherrie - I'm sure it won't be our last!

We met for brunch at a Cuban restaurant, Pambiche, and it was a feast for the eyes and for the taste buds. The color pallette on the walls and in the art work is stunning - just what you might expect from a Cuban establishment, bright reds and blues, oranges, yellows, purples, very festive. The food is different from anything I've experienced, wonderful flavors that were as festive as the walls. We spent a couple of hours visiting, laughing, and of course, taking photos. I was thrilled when Kendall said we could bring BlipBear and Kiwi home for a visit before they go traveling with klaus001. There will be further adventures with this pair of globetrotters. Liza is very interested in them, so look for a blip of the trio soon!

I almost blipped a late-night visitor that Liza and I encountered around 2 a.m. - it would have qualified for the Adverb/Adjective challenge - LATE - but knew I'd want to blip our meetup today. So Rocky had to take a back seat. I'm pretty sure he'll return -- he had fun playing with the laundry on the clothesline and the children's toys in the sandbox!
