In the Botanics

Went over just as the rain was going off. Lots of work going on around the East gate, with areas roped off. Walked through to Inverleith House, where there's an elaborate (and expensively ticketed) flowershow on in a tent on the lawn. Lots of bold coloured hothouse blooms installed, advertising a Tesla.
Continued to the West gate, bought some bulbs. Last year at this time we were about to move, so planting bulbs had to wait. Back by the South paths; there are many plantings of purple colchicums flourishing, found one patch of white ones. 

Mild, 14C, and sunny until late afternoon when mist and rain rolled in. Strong wind from the West.
