There are days….

There are days when you wish for them to end and be over and they don’t come very often thankfully, but today I lost one of my beloved goats, a little female called love heart, she’d managed to pick up an infection and was having antibiotics, but seemed to just go down fast,,I was up last night syringing sugar and lambs milk into her to try and keep energy levels enough to fight it but sadly she needed to go to sleep and never woke up, my heart breaks when I loose a family member, they are all my family and the feeling of being helpless will never change as they come to the time to leave me, she’s gone but like any others I’ve lost over the years will never be forgotten, as the sun set tonight over the islands, I couldn’t help but think roll on tomorrow x
