Now for something a little different

This is Luna, she’s a reticulated python and a baby still at around 18 months, she’s still growing and is approximately 10ft if I were to stretch her out.

She mostly has large rats (dead and defrosted) for her feed, I couldn’t possibly kill even a rat, so I buy these in from a specialist feed centre.

Reticulated pythons, especially the females can grow to 20ft, however I think Luna will probably be around the 12-13ft range. By then she will be on larger feed, and moving on to rabbits, not sure I like the idea, but it’s what they need so I will just have to pretend it’s a toy rabbit like I do with the chicks for Simba.

It’s been a wet miserable rainy day today, I spent most of the morning and afternoon getting drenched, but accomplished a deep clean in our hospital bay and goat pens, we can’t complain as the weather has been pretty good the last few weeks, anyhoo, off to eat ravioli and watch the soaps, tomorrow brings more deep cleaning and work! … meh
