Men at work

Went to the See Us exhibition. Enjoyed the photos very much and the bonus of a lovely book to remember it by.

Afterwards walked around Glasgow Green and had coffee there. Too lovely a day to g back home so went to Victoria Park to see the fossil tree stumps. We went at the beginning of year to try and see them but it was closed. We walked around the pond and saw two moorhen nests with moorhens sitting on them. There was also a pair of moorhens with chicks. Lovely to watch the adults diving for food and holding it in their beaks while the chicks ate it. There was also a couple of swans with 5 cygnets.

Why have I not included a picture of these cute chicks? The battery in my camera ran out and I had not taken the spare with me! Instead today's blip was taken in the Trongate near the SeeUs gallery where these men were working on the roof.
