Diary of an Edinburgher

SA Day Three

Table Mountain was invisible this morning, enveloped in low cloud, a common occurrence, so we took our time over breakfast - we weren’t going to the top. By the time we were outside, the day had improved a lot, though the mountain remained shrouded. So we didn’t bother buying cable car tickets.

We had a super ride up the mountain, stopping for most people to get off. The cable car was running, though the views would have been, well, non-existent.

On round to Camps Bay, and what a nice beach it was, with deck chairs set out along the sands. We had refreshments in a cafe called Kauai and told them we had a Kauai in Edinburgh (though we didn’t tell them that it had gone bust…)

Back to the city, and a wander round a very good market place, and we went back to the hotel for a bit of a rest, then out for an evening perambulation and some more sushi.

Goodbye Cape Town. We’ll be back… Off to Franschhoek tomorrow! The excitement continues.

Extra: Just a mixture.

PS - I eventually got Diptic, my preferred collage app, working. Yay!
