Sunday: Rooftop View

We started the day with a good chat with S&J in the UK.  It’s always lovely to catch up with them.  We were then supposed to meet Geoff for coffee - technically we did, but we’d all forgotten that places are either closed on a Sunday, or they open late.  So he ended up coming back to ours for a bit.

This afternoon it was back to Belize City.  It’s Independence Day this week and there’s lots of stuff going on around that, including a reception tonight.  Beforehand, I met my Norwegian and Irish colleagues for a drink - they are both resident in Mexico and are here for this week’s festivities.

Because it’s an evening event Humberto and I are staying over. This is my view from my hotel window.  It feels like it’s from another era.
