Pottering Pals

The day began with painting - Nate decided he wanted to paint a picture to give to Isabel today. She spent the day with us as her parents are in Germany for the next few days. Our friend Alice from the team in San An came over too as she finishes her time on Tuesday. So good to have time with her. We all got out eventually and walked to the beach. The weather is so so odd, grey but very hot and humid with no air. Everything seemed sucked of colour. Marco came and joined us too, today is his birthday so we got him a birthday ice cream - at 50 odd you're never too old for a Cornetto on your birthday! Claire then came and joined us too, which was lovely! She and Alice came back to ours for dinner - one of those cobbled together dinners that thankfully turns out ok! Mitch was awake when we were home, so it was lovely to have him in the mix as well. It ended up being a very sociable day. This was the only pic I could take as my camera battery died immediately after this one pic!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) The unplanned day coming together.
2) Finding a really delicious Vegan ice cream for Nate...on offer too!
3) Lots of time with Alice to amble through conversation.
