Canal du Midi

Another glorious, if perhaps overly hot day in Toulouse. Started with a walk along the canal du midi - an wonderful piece of 17th century engineering and World Heritage Site! The canal was built to link the Atlantic and the Mediterranean and it’s also a lovely place to have a stroll. Today also took in place du Capitole, the botanic gardens - with live music and a museum. Overall busy. Tonight has been quieter although we are loving listening to Toulouse’s resident owls calling to each other.
