Simply Ancient

Rod Stewart was on fine form last night (despite a few touches of amnesia when it came to the lyrics!) and put on a brilliant show. His band were great too and, needless to say, the audience were singing along and dancing from first to last, risking hernias and coronaries as they threw caution and zimmer frames to the wind.

After a hearty breakfast, we took a quick stroll while the bells of Manchester Cathedral here were giving it their Sunday morning best, before taking a leisurely drive home. Today's title has nothing to do with last night(!) but follows on from yesterday's backblip
