PAPER

A very bad photo of a sculpture on the sidewalk at Turners Falls, MA.  Turners Falls is on the Connecticut River, and is known for its mills.  There's a paper mill there still, but I don't know if it still operates.  We paused there for lunch, and also to visit the 'no kill fabric shelter', as my friend terms it.  It's a shop that takes in any fabric, plus patterns, thread, sewing machines, haberdashery, etc., and sells it all at rock-bottom prices.  When we stopped in, it was mostly upholstery fabric, so there wasn't anything that caught my eye.  Probably just as well.
