A Disjointed Kind of Day

The morning was good, I went to handbells after an absence of about a month, due to holidays.  But on the way back, I got a text from DH, could I not do the messages and come straight home?  Of course I was concerned, as earlier this week the doc said he had severe anaemia,  if he felt any worse to go to the ER and get a transfusion. They don't yet know the cause.  To cut it slightly shorter, we went to ER.  I stayed for a bit, then came home, but didn't get anything done.  They released him an hour and a half later; his bloods hadn't changed since earlier in the week.  Fortunately he'd already been referred to Haematology at Raigmore; they had a cancellation for next Tuesday.  Fingers crossed they can pinpoint the cause, and it won't be anything serious.
