Black bulls and white horses!

When we booked this trip, many months ago, we were completely unaware that the fête du Grau was on from the 9th to 17th September. So today, after a rather large hotel breakfast we went for a walk, and came across the bull run through the streets!  
There were lots of announcements about staying out of the way of the wild animals, but once they started to run they were surrounded on all sides by horsemen and women. We had a good spot up higher than the road and saw all four bulls thunder past, twice, with their horns safely bandaged to avoid any injury! It was a good spectacle.
Then in the afternoon we went on a boat trip through the Camargue, and saw not one single flamingo. But we saw lots more black bulls and white horses!
The weather is on the turn this evening. Cloudy with rain forecast, and less people are swimming in the sea.
