Green tomato chutney!

As we have lots of tomatoes which don’t seem to want to go red we decided to pick some to make chutney before they get blight or something!
My husband made eight jars a couple of days ago using a recipe he found on the Internet and it seems tasty. Gave some to a friend this morning and she reported back that is was great in a sandwich. 

This morning I cycled to Twickenham and along the river past Marble Hill to Richmond and then back on the other side past Ham House to see a friend in Kingston. (13 miles in total and not on my electric bike, but no hills!) Not too busy at 10.30 but the path near Marble Hill House needs resurfacing,  very bumpy.

I went to the garden centre for compost for the pots in which I will plant bulbs soon. I was planning to get some pansies too but they looked very straggly and weak so will wait and visit somewhere else.

Out to Book Club this evening at a nice Scillian restaurant.
