Rose in Wind

The Rose of Sharon has been wide open in the sun, but I keep missing it. 
This is the blossom this afternoon in the wind.
Big night tonight. We went to the Charles County Council meeting to try to help our daughter rescue the indoor pool at the College of Southern Maryland. It was moving that so many seniors showed up for the meeting. The pool has been a lifeline for them. I am so proud of her!
