Inch Kenneth

A grey day today which turned wet and then windy late afternoon.
We had a tour of the middle, mountainous part of the island to see what wildlife we could see, which entailed numerous stops.
Many birds were sighted, including a distant view of a sea eagle and a probable snipe, a couple of glimpses of otters and plenty of flowers.
There was also some stunning scenery, a road in a cliff, interesting geology, a pointless gate and some natural art. Some of these are in the extras as well as the geology of Inch Kenneth which was once home to the Mitford family.
The rain came as forecast and we wen to Tobermory for an hour and did some shopping before returning to our comfortable "home". Yesterday camping would have been good, not today!
