I booked the very last place in the Aquaerobics class this morning and it was FUN! - like Zumba in the water.
Some gardening this afternoon - thought about mowing the lawn but decided to leave it until Spring :-) This beautiful Virginia Creeper tumbles over the wall at the end of our garden - thank you, neighbours!
I was watching this film today (2 weeks after Luke and I walked the Seven Summits of his neighbourhood). It's made by a guy in Montana who sets out to climb the Seven Summits around his town. He takes his Mum along on the first one, which is quite sweet. There's a UK version too, done by one of my heroes, Al Humphreys. It's cheering to know that it really doesn't matter if you can't travel the world for whatever reason (poor health, shortage of time time or finances or if like me, you choose to avoid flying to be kind to the planet and future generations). Your neighbourhood is more interesting than you think (as we discovered during lockdown). Jess and I were up in the forest today for the umpteenth time, and it's always different. She never complains, anyway.
Only 10 days now until the Big Walk!
