Full Fathom Five

They carried the bluestones from Preseli in west-most Wales to Stonehenge... but these came all the way from China! 

We thought to visit the nature reserve at Portishead, but without checking that National Grid might not still be stringing their new T-Pylons from Hinkley C power station to my old base at Seabank substation. Still, it was an enjoyable walk and we ended up in the marina, which was far nicer than most and was full to the brim with assorted floating gin palaces. No recession here...

The name of the sculpture, by Michael Dan Archer, reflects a line from The Tempest and the 108 granite columns are intended as a seafarers' memorial.
