Taunton

This is the former Gaumont Theatre in Taunton.  It was built as an Art Deco style theatre in 1931-32, renamed as the Odeon Cinema in 1969 and after closing in 1981 became a bingo hall.

Another fine 20th century building is the former Debenhams store, built in the 1960s but closed in 2021. I also liked the Lloyds bank building.
