Grotto

Since our friend Karen can't walk, we decided to have a touristy day. It started with an inspiring male choir at the Mur des Fusillés at La Chapelle en Vercors. Then, I drove round via the Gorges de la Bournes. We stopped at the Grotte de Choranche, blipped, which is wheelchair accessible. However the way to the entrance is quite steep and we were lucky that a fit young man came to our rescue (both ways). The visit was very interesting. The cave is known for its very thin straw stalactites. We finished with a visit to Villard de Lans.
