River boat

I had a busy but nice day, today. I finished work a little early to go and meet Charlie for a coffee at the Old Police Station, and then walked into town to meet the Minx. 

Having spent a week in close proximity in the camper van, we haven't seen each other for a few days, so it was lovely to spend some time just the two of us.

We met up on Bridge Street and then walked to The Mews for drinks and a bite to eat. We sat and chatted in the balmy evening air, and it was lovely.

We walked back over the new bridge, from where we saw this boat travelling down the Irwell, complete with live band and blues singer.
