Setter, Nort Roe
A fine start to the day, some sunny spells. Fairly windy, it took showers, heavier tonight. Still a respectable 18⁰c all day.
Up early, feeling so much better, just left with a mild cold now. After being stuck inside for the past couple of days, we packed up the caravan and headed to Brae for the night, a change in scenery was needed. I've managed a couple of walkies with Sammy, and the caravan is always relaxing to sit in. Big Brian and Madeline popped by for a cuppa. Couple of movies and quiet night in the caravan.
Good to get out for fresh air, it really helps with the recovery. Still don't want to push myself too far for a walk either, covid doesn't half leave me short breathed. Headed towards Fethaland, but it was too far to walk, so stopped off here for a look instead. This old croft used to be a roofless ruin not that long ago. It was renovated for a crofting summer house, sadly fallen back into slight disrepair. There's always hope for these old buildings, a great example of what can be done. Old township of Setter, with Lower Setter Loch below, North Roe.
