Closing time?

The "other me" has mentioned, from time to time, how many flowers have a closing time.  'Welsh' Poppy.
On the left - height of the day.
On right  -  By flash, after dark.
      To check I thought I'd see if I remembered its name correctly - I didn't - BUT - I wish they'd make their minds up:-
"Papaver cambricum, synonym Meconopsis cambrica, the Welsh poppy, is a perennial flowering plant in the poppy family Papaveraceae."  Right or wrong, as kids we always took some seeds and left a marker wherever we picknicked.   Not any more though.
