Bellicampane

Thanks to Judy, one of our ringers for the photo. There was a meeting at the Mairie this morning to introduce the various clubs and associations in the village to new arrivals. We took it in turns to give a brief outline of our activities following a speech given by the Maire. There were around a dozen associations represented and I described what we do in Bellicampane (bell and bell in English and Catalan.) I said we were in need of new recruits and what fun it could be! Of course, the introductions were followed by the usual aperitifs, nibbles and drinks, mostly alcoholic. No wonder our rates are so high!
