St. George's Chapel

My cousin J and I went to Windsor Castle today. When we booked we'd forgotten it would be the first anniversary of Queen Elizabeth's passing. So as the day drew nearer we thought the town and Castle would be very busy. We also wondered whether we'd be able to see the resting place of the Late Queen or whether it might be available to family members only. However, surprisingly, the town was relatively quiet and thankfully, the resting place was 'open as usual'. We had a good wander round and saw a lovely floral tribute which had been placed within the castle grounds at the top of the Long Walk. See extras.
