Camino Day 5

Left Portugal at 6.45am in a taxi boat, 10 minutes later we arrived in Spain having travelled 700 metres at 7.55am. The time zone was in the middle of the water. Hard days walking with few facilities en route. Finally found a cafe at 11am and had a huge baguette - it was full of pilgrims (the cafe not the baguette!). Quite a lot of road walking today, and never that far from the sea. Blisters held up reasonably. Our hostel was a welcome sight after about 14 miles. Heat and backpacks make it a bit more challenging. Happy with progress though.
