Camino Day 4

Walked to Caminha today through woodland and hills before coming down to the coast again. Lovely walking and chatting to other pilgrims that we met en route. This coastal area was covered with wild goats who weren’t interested in us until we opened a dried fruit bar and then this mother left her kid and decided she might have a go at eating my rucksack. Time to make a swift exit! After the delights of last night’s accommodation and the outstanding dinner and then breakfast, we are back to hostels again. Happy with tonight’s choice, not least because they have a laundrette. We took the opportunity to wash everything. Such joy from such simple pleasures! Also picked up our first blisters, not quite so joyful. Hoping our compeed plasters do their magic!
