RIP Susanne

A link to this old video popped up in my inbox this morning.  The accordion player - Susanne - passed away earlier in the week.  

A kind and funny person, she was a whizz on the accordion.  Her ability to play in various musical styles meant that she was in demand as a session and recording musician, as well as playing with her husband and various local bands.  She joined us when we went through our “Tex-Mex” period.

The video is our version of a Buddy Holly song.  Probably not for serious fans of either Buddy Holly or Tex-Mex, but it shows off her skills.
