Self indulgence!

I grabbed a bit of 'me time' today. A trip to Hexham for some spoiling at the hairdresser and a little bit of leisurely shopping. It was a real treat and an escape for a few hours. 
Unfortunately I had Barry's mum in tears on the phone when I got home, no major trauma this time, just a lot of sadness but we talked it through. On a more positive note the painkillers seem to be working for mum and she was definite.y brighter this evening. For me a day of mixed emotions but more good than bad so I could focus on the ups and not the downs.
