Colour Run

I'd been wanting to take part in a colour run for years, so signed up quick when the Colchester run was announced. The race rolled around today, and it was just as ridiculous as I'd expected! It was a bit of an uninspiring course; 5 laps around Ardleigh Showground, with us all running through different colour zones at the end of each lap- having pots of powder paint thrown over us. It was going well until G got a pot of colour thrown right in his eyes (letter of complaint to be written tomorrow!), so we had to stop to try to scoop it out. Other than that, it was a fun race, but I don't think I'd do one again... it took SO long to get clean and sort our paint-splattered gear out. We wisely went to my Mum's afterwards and spent the rest of the day hanging out at hers.
