Mixed Bag

It was so nice sleeping in til 9 today! I spent the day shopping with my Mum, and we sat in the sunshine in Castle Park with a M&S lunch. I hadn't been since renovation work has started on the castle, and it was strange seeing it surrounded by scaffolding. Ellie and I took a quick trip to scope out the basketball court that we've booked for our match in a couple of weeks time, and then I spent the evening round my friend Ed's. He made an amazing quiche and soup, and it was lovely to have a catch up over bananagrams and be shown round his new pad.
