Cathedral Cave

C arrived very late yesterday evening. There had been a distressing incident on the railway line and he had been delayed by several hours. He finally arrived after midnight and we were relieved he reached us.

We drove over to Tilberthwaite this morning and walked to Little Langdale, taking in Cathedral Cave (have never seen misty conditions previously) and then returned to the car. Good walk and so, so hot and humid. An evening at home with him and spicy beef casserole for dinner.
