Heirloom Tomatoes at the Market

Wednesday is market day, but it feels like Sunday, whatever that means. I was going to say that August is such a nice month in the garden, but I remembered just in time that we are a good way into September. I do see that those tomatoes are absolutely gorgeous, and I can almost taste the crunch of those beans—I like them with a little smear of sour cream on top.  And so I bumble along, getting to where I have to go on time, but often wondering why.
