Trulli Scrumptious

We had a short drive to Alberobello after checking out of our hotel in Matera. It took about an hour to get here and they let us check in early. The trulli is nice but we booked an outdoor space which this one doesn’t have. They’re letting us move to another one tomorrow.
We spent the afternoon by the pool then showered and changed and walked into town for dinner. It’s very busy here, lots of people still in holiday mode and the shops, restaurants and bars are all geared up for the tourists. It’s a pretty town with lots of the trulli houses, narrow, winding streets and picturesque views.
We had a good dinner and walked home having bought a nice bottle of wine on the way. We’re currently sitting outside under the fairy lights drinking the wine.
