Squash

Today's the day  . . . . . . . . for a bit of magic

This thing of beauty has slowly grown in the poly-tunnel all by itself.

It was never planted, it just appeared as if by magic and got bigger and bigger.   I think it must be a squash - although it's not the shape of a butternut squash which is the only kind I have ever grown?

And now it's ready to be cooked into something.   Any ideas  . . . . . ?
