Sisters Reunited

Finally, we three met up. 
L to R Christine from Cornwall, Alison from Australia and Hampshire Helen. 
The last time we were together was over a year ago.
Another busy day. A washing machine service engineer called this morning but couldn't make the washer/ dryer work because the engineer who came last week had removed a bit of the tumbler motor. Apparently, the machine needs this in place for the washer to work, but the first chap hadn't realised this. Of course, today's chap hadn't got the necessary parts. 
OK  I thought, there's a laundrette across town, but when I phoned them they were our of action due to a serious water leak!
Fortunately our neighbour kindly offered use of her machine so at least A and P will have clean clothes to take with them to Amsterdam on Thursday. 
A and P visited our mum and installed  a bookcase in her room.
Then Martin received an email saying our train next week from Paris to Milan has been "deleted" due to a rock fall, which necessitated  us booking flights between these cities. Luckily, flights were still available, but we are disappointed because we were hoping to avoid flying on our imminent European holiday, and use only trains and buses.
Then Christine arrived by train from Cornwall and the three sisters were reunited at last.
