Sign of Autumn

My first apple cake of the season, using some of JacktheLad’s first backgreen harvest, delivered in the pub on Saturday night. Great apples, great cake, S is happy.
In other news: made a semi-emergency appointment with the dentist due to an oft-filled tooth giving up the ghost yesterday; played golf in ridiculously warm weather this morning; did the hoovering before another visitor arrives tomorrow; one of our new Blue Rams seems to have died (a fish, not a sheep) but not a great surprise as it wouldn’t eat any of the many food offerings to hand - a shame, especially as the other Ram is happily munching everything on offer.
