Hummers Everywhere

We had a truly lazy warm, sunny Sunday. Our BIL made Western omelettes, potato pancakes and scrapple for himself, hubby and my sister. I made country sausage for me and enjoyed a potato pancake and sliced garden tomato (there’s an odd one in every crowd). Everyone helped to clean the kitchen. I made the neighbor banana bread (we had very ripe bananas) and my sister made a large bowl of potato salad for the week. We read, rested and watched at least five hummers flit from flower to flower, feeder to feeder. We also saw a Baltimore oriole at the jelly feeder but it was too far away for me to get a decent photo. I also caught up on your journals. After a small lunch, the men rode their ATVs; my sister and I visited the neighbor and her son. As we sat on her porch, several more hummers flew back and forth, inches from our faces, to vie for the feeders she has hanging at each end. Our BIL and hubby stopped by and looked at a door the elderly neighbor had somehow taken off its track. They came home and got what they needed to repair it. We are having burgers for dinner, an easy meal. Then I guess we’ll pull the Kindle’s back out. Thanks for your visit and stars/nice comments. Stay safe and have a pleasant week.
