Another glorious day

Early start as we decided to cross the causeway at low tide and that meant getting to it for around 8, so left the camper at 7am. It was already warm. The island was just rough ground and a small hill but the bird life was brilliant, we sat on a rock and just listened for ages. Took longer to walk back as we started looking at lots of tiny crabs running in the mud. Got back just after ten and had a late breakfast.
Relaxed and read for a couple of hours and then after lunch we headed off up the hill. Interesting to see a sailing boat got into difficulties and was heading for the rocks, it’s sails were flapping and no sound of an engine, and then two ribs appeared from across the water and helped them get away and get the engine going.
