44 Years!

September 2 was our 44th anniversary. We had planned to go to Johnny’s niece’s house but Johnny was up coughing all night and felt rotten. We had promised to take J’s brother there so Johnny insisted I go and promised he would go to the clinic. That’s what we did. He ended up having strep and bronchitis but got meds and is some better.
We had so much fun. His niece has just installed a glorious pool. It was too cool to enjoy the pool but the hot tub was wonderful. She is so thoughtful. She had birthday cakes for Jessica and Jerry and an anniversary cake for us. I brought some home for Johnny. Sorry he could not go. The main shows one of Jessica’s Ole Miss ( University of Mississippi) charcuterie boards loaded with goodies. These people love food! :—)) The extras show the cake recipients, the pool, and the hot tub.
Don’t worry. I got home early afternoon and spent the rest of the time with my soulmate.
