Spindle berries

I always associate these interesting berries with September now, and I seem to want to take photos of them every year.
 A few more of them in my first extra, and then in the second, a sign that is typical of the ones you see around the Reelig estate's driveway and paths. The Laird of Reelig House died a week ago which was sad for all of us who live around here. A very gentle, decent and kind man. He'll be missed.
