Second lot of visitors in a week….

… No time for anything but a mundane blip.

I made the cake.
They kindly brought the flowers.

I am not a natural in the flower arranging department.
Especially when being watched.
I did that thing where you have to stop cutting because they were getting shorter and shorter. And now look most odd.
(Buy me flowers and I’ll just cut all the stems off. Inch by inch).

Anyway.
A lovely time was had.
We were trounced at a couple of old fashioned board games (Rummikub and ‘Snatch’).
And consider ourselves lucky that kids are happy to come and humour us/see us.

A bonus of visitors is that somehow you end up really tidy when you’ve cleared up.
Win, win :-)
