An Oxfordshire day

Another dull day with odds and ends of rain. My brother and I took Daughter One to Abingdon where she'll be staying overnight with a friend. She has to be back at work on Mull on Monday morning, but because of the strikes she can only get as far as Birmingham on the train, so she's not sure how she'll get home.

We had a quick wander around the town then continued on to Henley where we met up with a cousin for lunch at the Catherine Wheel. My Blip today is of Henley Town Hall and church taken from West Street, just down from Friar Park, the home of the late George Harrison and not far from the Row Barge pub where he used to play his guitar to the regulars. Then it was on a little further for a visit to Blipper Heidi before returning to Hampton and dinner with my brother and his wife. Another good day, with a few rays of sunshine in the afternoon!
