Thursday: Covered Bridge

We took a lovely drive out this morning to DuPont State Forest Park where we took a long walk to the waterfalls.  If truth be told, even after all our time in Canada we’ve never really understood the difference between a hike and a walk……thoughts welcomed………but the park certainly had a nice covered bridge. And this is also a rare shot of K.

On the way back to Asheville we stopped off in Hendersonville for two reasons. The first was because it is reputedly very attractive (that was certainly true). The other was because I wanted to petition the town council to  erect a statue to their famous daughter, KendallIsHere.  Sadly the town council wasn’t in but I’ve posted some shots of Hendersonville nonetheless.

We’re moving on tomorrow so final visit to some of Asheville’s finest breweries.
