Cleome (Spider Flower)

The weather has been superb today. Wish I had spent more time outside. Instead I worked on the beanie ornaments for the grands. When I took a short walk around the property, I chose these spider flowers for my blip. Here is what I found on line about them at pansymaiden.com. “The pink spider is a beautiful and popular flower that symbolizes femininity, love, and sweetness. The pink spider flower is believed to have originated in India, and it is often seen in ceremonies and religious rituals.” Hubby and our BIL did some further research on the cell antenna. We use Verizon and they have AT&T as providers. Of course the cell towers for each are at opposite locations. They tweaked the pointing direction and we are both satisfied with the improvement. They also mowed the grass. My sister and her hubby are repainting their barn doors this week. They started the scraping part of the project today. I made a tasty zucchini casserole to go with our crab cakes for dinner. Another wonderful day in our books of life. Sure feel bad for our friends and families south of us who experienced that hurricane. One cousin had roof damage and downed trees. She wasn’t home but reported that the main part of her house is fine. Haven’t heard from others yet. I wanted to share the meditation I sent to my grands today as my quote. I try to send them wise tidbits daily to keep them focused. Stay safe. Thanks for dropping by. "Who you become is infinitely more important than what you do or what you have." - MATTHEW KELLY
