The Tree

A completely different day weather wise to yesterday, warm and sunny!

We took the dogs to Vauxhall Fields, Monmouth town centre (South Wales UK) as it's superb for letting dogs off the lead, picturesque and provides a good one mile circular walk with 'dog bins' all around. The fields belong to the M.O.D. and are very well maintained. The daughters dogs love it and it's good to see them running free.

This week's W-I-D-E on Wednesday Challenge has the theme 'tree' and the one I've taken a photo' of is on it's own in the middle of the massive field. The view of it shows Monmouth Castle and St Mary's Priory spire in the background. Nice to capture a fellow dog walker, too!

After a walk around the town for some shopping we arrived home mid afternoon, and after a coffee it was time for the weekly lawn cut - it's growing so fast with the rain and warmish weather.
