2023 Sunday — Not Happy Hour
We had taken the pups to walk in Bluffs Park and enjoy the cool ocean air; our little house was so hot this afternoon, huh! The pups enjoyed the walk and so did we. Bluffs Park is right next to the Inn at Morro Bay, which sits just above the waters of the back bay.
When we finished our walk, Mr. Fun suggested that we stop at the restaurant inside of the Inn. So we put the pups in the car and headed that direction. The Inn’s “Happy Hour” — last time we noticed — was 2:00 to 6:00. So we rounded the corner toward the Inn’s parking lot and saw a big sign that announced “Happy Hour 3:00 -5:00.” It was 5:05. How funny, sort of.
No biggie. We were not going there for Happy Hour; we were going there for dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves while we consumed a delicious meal.
Our early Sunday was wonderful. We watched and listened as former baseball player Darryl Strawberry spoke to all three morning worship services at Calvary Chapel Chino Hills. His story was quite engaging. He was speaking again this afternoon at “Buds,” which is a gathering just for men and boys and it is not live-streamed nor recorded. If you’d like to view Darryl Strawberry speaking to one of the three morning services go here:

That’s it for this Sunday.
