A Flower Within A Flower

This is the native bee balm I photographed earlier. It still doesn’t look like anything I’ve seen before but it has gotten more interesting. The original flower has sprouted 3 more kind of like a “high rise”, one on top of the previous as seen in Extra. The plant is enormous and will probably get blown over in the coming tropical storm but I kind of want to prune it back and see what happens.
